India's Secretary of Power to Keynote Influential Smart Grid Gathering in Asia
DALLAS, Dec. 13, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Clasma Events and the Indian Electrical and Electronics Manufacturers' Association (IEEMA) announced today that Mr. P. Uma Shankar, Secretary of Power, India Ministry of Power, will keynote GridWeek Asia, 16-18 January 2012 in Mumbai, India.
Mr. Shankar is expected to cover the unique challenges faced by India's electrical infrastructure, given rapid population and GDP growth, and plans for building India's multi-billion dollar grid with smart, clean, efficient technologies.
