IN Cyber is the newest public education option for K-12 students anywhere in Indiana. IN Cyber offers students innovative and individualized educational opportunities, designed to enable every student to succeed.
IN Cyber is the only state-approved cyber charter school offering free dual-credit college courses to high school juniors and seniors.
IN Cyber combines the nation's best online curriculum, a high level of service, certified teachers, and leading technology to provide academic opportunities that go far beyond the capabilities of traditional classroom schools.
One advantage of IN Cyber over other online public schools is the Student Learning Advocate.
At IN Cyber, each student is assigned a Student Learning Advocate (SLA) who is a state-certified teacher. The role of the SLA is to work with the student and family as mentor, learning coach, and guidance counselor. The SLA contacts the student and family at least weekly, and as often as is necessary.
The SLA does not teach classes. Instead he or she guides in selecting courses, monitors attendance and academic progress, and is available to meet with the student and family in-person at one of the school's Student Support Centers, located at Trine University regional campuses in Schererville and Avon.
The free dual-credit college program is another advantage available exclusively through IN Cyber.
Juniors and seniors in high school enrolled in IN Cyber have the opportunity to earn college credits through Trine University's Middle College program. This dual enrollment program – provided by IN Cyber at no cost to families – allows students to take online college courses from Trine that provide both high school and transferable college credits.
IN Cyber features the nation's leading online curriculum, Lincoln Interactive. Used by thousands of students worldwide, Lincoln Interactive offers more than 250 courses for grades 5-12, allowing students to customize their education based on their needs and academic goals.
Developed by and provided through the National Network of Digital Schools, Lincoln Interactive curriculum features the STEM-focused Cutting Edge Science courses, extensive world languages and elective courses, and Little Lincoln, the nation's leading online elementary curriculum for grades K-4.
