PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 20, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- U.S. Senate Candidate Everett Stern asks supporters and the press to join him at 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 29 for a rally and press conference on the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art – steps made famous in "Rocky." Stern will reveal critical and disturbing intelligence about his opponent, Republican incumbent Pat Toomey, who has repeatedly shown blatant disregard for the well-being of American democracy. "My mission is to restore and uphold the values that have made this nation great," explains Stern. "Values like truth, justice and loyalty are in short supply – because party politics is a machine that too often serves its own ends, ignoring the will and the best interests of the people. I'm no politician, and I don't answer to billionaires and corporate donors. My mandate comes from the people, and as Senator I'll make every decision with the people in mind."
During the rally, Stern will be donating $1,000 to the Philadelphia Police Department. He will also reveal some unsettling findings about the hidden forces pulling the strings on the Black Lives Matter movement. His position on this and every issue is that citizens deserve to know the truth, which is the only way to achieve real understanding and to make informed decisions.
At the start of his campaign, Pennsylvania's Republican party worked hard to keep Stern off the ballot, forcing him to run as an independent. He didn't allow that setback to dampen his resolve. Instead, Stern went back into the ring even more determined to prove that American politics doesn't have to be "business as usual."
As Election Day draws near, Stern continues fighting the good fight on behalf of all Americans. "I have nothing to lose," he says, "because I'm on the right side of history, and my core values of honor and integrity can't be bought."
