According to the Forrester Research, Inc. report, the vendors included in the Forrester Wave have capabilities to support a wide range of GRC use cases, substantial market presence, and relevance to the market. Forrester's report also includes additional weightings based on some common initial GRC implementations:

Corporate compliance, environmental compliance, and social responsibility
IT GRC and third-party risk management
Financial controls and operational risk

Forrester notes that some vendors' offerings "rise significantly higher" when using different weightings.
