ATLANTA, Jan. 30, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Liaison Technologies, a recognized leader in cloud-based integration and data management solutions, today announced that independent research firm Forrester has recognized the company as a "Strong Performer" in its recently released evaluation, "The Forrester Wave™: Operational Intelligence For B2B Integration, Q1 2018" report. Liaison was one of only eight vendors selected to be evaluated in the report, which was subtitled "The Eight Vendors That Matter Most and How They Stack Up."
For the report, Forrester evaluated the Liaison Enterprise Navigation System (LENS®), a component of the Liaison ALLOY® Platform. LENS® is a unique, cloud-based Business Activity Monitoring (BAM) tool for Liaison integration service customers, providing total transparency for messaging and data analysis features. Virtually any data source can be plugged in, making it possible to converge A2A and B2B activities into a single view. LENS®, as part of the next generation Liaison ALLOY® Platform, provides real-time visibility into the data flow, delivering mission-critical operational intelligence for data-centric organizations.
Forrester recognizes OI for B2B integration as a "key component of digital transformation," noting that "the competition is no longer about features but about the availability of managed services offerings." The report says that "Forrester expects operational intelligence for B2B integration to be the next battleground, where companies will compete by providing visibility at the ecosystem level. Firms investing in digital transformation and focusing on digital operational excellence and ecosystem transformation will collaborate to improve their supply chain and significantly boost efficiency."
The report notes that the ALLOY® Platform is "an all-in-one data management and application integration platform for thousands of large enterprises," citing LENS® as "a key component for monitoring the ALLOY® Platform as well as third-party platforms for integration." Forrester surveys reference customers and the report states that most of the value for customers comes from "the Liaison service team's ability to customize key performance indicators, metrics, and dashboards for customers," noting that Liaison likes to be seen as "an extension of its enterprise customers' technology organizations…"
"We're thrilled to be cited as a 'Strong Performer' by the highly respected Forrester independent research team and included among the small group of vendors evaluated in this influential report," said Rob Consoli, Chief Revenue Officer for Liaison. "As the traditional B2B integration market continues to extend into more sophisticated forms of complex integration for which cloud-based operational intelligence tools are required, we expect LENS® and our ALLOY® Platform to continue their strong growth trajectory as they couple the advantages of cloud-based OI with a managed services approach."
Forrester used 28 criteria to evaluate the eight "B2B integration vendors known in the market for having the best monitoring capabilities either for tech organization users, business users, or both." According to the report, vendors' current offerings were assessed, including "each solution's user interface environment, analytics, alerting, platform and templates, frameworks, and method." Forrester also assessed strategy, including evaluating how each vendor "plans to evolve its product to meet emerging customer demands." Market presence was assessed via evaluation of "each provider's product revenue, deal size, and customer base."
