InDemand Interpreting Adds Telemedicine Experience, Brian Douglas Joins Organization

SEATTLE, Feb. 26, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- InDemand Interpreting, a leading provider of Video Remote Interpreting (VRI) within healthcare, recently added Brian Douglas to its rapidly expanding organization as Vice President of Business Development. Douglas brings more than 15 years of experience in business development and building partnerships and vertical solutions for the healthcare, government and education markets with a background rich in telemedicine.

Previously, as Business Development Director for Carousel Industries and prior to that with Polycom, Douglas partnered with organizational leaders, stakeholders and IT departments to integrate video and audio collaboration tools into training, healthcare or university programs. Douglas obtained grant funding from both federal agencies and private foundations through organizations such as the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) and the American Telemedicine Association. 

Douglas also spent eight years in clinical sales with surgical and medical device companies including Stryker, Kyphon and Medtronic.
