"We are pleased to be working with InComm and 7-Eleven to offer our products for Indonesian consumers," said Mr. Hiroyuki Oda at Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Asia. "Our products are very popular locally, and it is great to have partners that enable our distribution to be accessible and convenient."
Partners since 2002, 7-Eleven and InComm have traced a successful global expansion. Today, over two thirds of the partnership's sales are made outside of the United States. Since 2014, this partnership has focused its efforts in Southeast Asia, which stands out in the global payments market, given its size, potential and track record of adopting new payment technologies.
"We are pleased to have taken the first step to provide PlayStation™Network prepaid products through our strategic partnership with 7-Eleven to the customers in Indonesia," said Frank Monaco, Executive Vice President and General Manager, InComm International. "We are focusing on building wider product portfolio for our retail partners in this region, and this is a large step toward that goal."
"Once again we are very happy to partner with InComm to support the 7-Eleven strategy of offering a broad range of services to consumers in Indonesia. Consumers can now safely and conveniently purchase Sony's PlayStation™Network prepaid products at all 7- Eleven stores across Indonesia," said MOL Global's Group Chief Executive Officer Mr. Preecha Praipattarakul.
