InComm Subsidiary On-Line Strategies Completes Type 2 SOC 2 Examination

ATLANTA, March 14, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- InComm, a leading prepaid product and transaction services company, announced today that On-Line Strategies Services, LLC (OLS), a wholly owned subsidiary of InComm, recently completed a Type 2 SOC 2 examination. This examination, formally known as a "Report on Controls at a Service Organization Relevant to Security, Availability, Processing Integrity, Confidentiality, or Privacy," demonstrates OLS's commitment to information and data protection.

The review period for the certification was from April 1, 2016 to Jan. 31, 2017. The examination was performed and completed on Feb. 7, 2017 by the independent CPA firm Schellman & Company, Inc. At the conclusion of the examination, the firm determined that OLS's platform, operation, policies and procedures met or surpassed the SOC 2 requirements. Of the five Trust Service principles that a service organization may opt to be evaluated against as part of a SOC 2 examination, OLS chose security and availability.
