InCite 2011: The Power of Art

NEW YORK, Feb. 21, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Boston University College of Fine Arts returns to New York for the fourth installment of its InCite Arts Festival, themed "The Power of Art." The festival runs March 10-14 at venues throughout Manhattan and features students, faculty, alumni and friends of the College's Schools of Music, Theatre, and Visual Arts. The festival, which has been highlighted by The NY Times, The Washington Post and The New Yorker since its launch in 2008, features the new play Fallujah; a musical and theatrical tribute to Paul and Jane Bowles, Two Stars in the Desert; C.P. Conceived to share the dynamic artistic strengths and synergy of Boston University's College of Fine Arts schools of Music, Theatre, and Visual Arts, the InCite Arts Festival offers new and interdisciplinary programming that boasts an eclectic and compelling combination of titles and artists. The moveable feast of InCite has presented three successful festivals in New York, as well as a high-impact debut in Washington D.C. For this return to New York, audiences are invited to explore diverse artistic terrain presented by a multigenerational community of passionate, accomplished artists.
