Nonprofit organization will exhibit at the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustee's 2012 Spring Seminar

ORLANDO, Fla., March 29, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- InCharge® Debt Solutions ("InCharge"), a nonprofit credit counseling agency, with its affiliate InCharge Education Foundation, has helped clients complete over 800,000 bankruptcy courses since the company initiated the educational offerings in 2006.  The company will be showcasing its Pre-Filing Credit Counseling, and Pre-Discharge Debtor Education courses at the 2012 Spring Seminar of the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees (NABT) to be held March 30-31, 2012 at The Venetian/Palazzo in Las Vegas, Nevada.

This event will feature discussions of pre-judgment remedies, short sales and 724(b) sales, 401(k) plans in bankruptcy filings, ethics and professionalism, the costs of BAPCA, and two sessions focusing on case law.

"Nevada has dominated both unemployment rates and bankruptcy filings for the past several years," said Beth Mason, InCharge's Director of Outreach Programs for Bankruptcy Services.  "The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that 12.6 percent of the state's residents are without work, and Clark County, in which Las Vegas is located, was in a virtual tie for the second most personal bankruptcy filings in 2011 with 13,004. 

The Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act of 2005, or BAPCPA, requires debtors to complete both Pre-Filing Credit Counseling and Pre-Discharge Debtor Education courses and InCharge offers both courses online at www.PersonalFinanceEducation.com.
