The CMHS course provides loan officers, realtors and housing professionals with a clear understanding of how to work with military clients. It aims to put greater numbers of military families into affordable homes with the help of knowledgeable professionals who understand the unique circumstances faced by military servicemembers.
"We're very proud of our housing counselors and their commitment to helping our heroes in the military," said Etta Money, President of InCharge Debt Solutions. "We join USA Cares in supporting military families and look forward to helping servicemembers buy homes or stay financially viable in the ones they now own."
USA Care's Beverly Ray Frase, the course's author, has a strong background as a loan officer, real estate broker and career army wife. "I've been on all sides of the home buying process," says Beverly. "I know where the speed bumps are, especially for our military men and women. Working with a certified housing professional should move them down the path to an accurate and timely closing."
