Incentive Solutions President works with the Distinguished Clown Corps to light up Children's Healthcare of Atlanta
ATLANTA, Nov. 8, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Mark Herbert, President of Incentive Solutions will be participating in the upcoming Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Christmas Parade as a proud member of the Distinguished Clown Corps. Mr. Herbert will be trading his dress slacks in for colorful makeup and a rainbow wig. The Distinguished Clown Corps' members give donations and time in order to dress like a clown, and spend time with special patients who may be battling life-threatening and chronic illnesses, and who deserve an extra serving of smiles during the holiday season.

This year will mark the 21st year the Distinguished Clowns have marched in the Children's Parade. The Corps' membership is a virtual who's who of Atlanta business executives and community leaders, and they all share a desire to spread good will and cheer to the children who need it most. To become a clown, duties include monetary donations to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta; walking as a group in the parade; and spending time with amazing children who might not be able to make it to see the parade, or maybe even Christmas. They believe this is the most important duty as a clown, and they give these courageous kids every ounce of comical cheer they can.
Mr. Herbert says, "we're looking to recruit 50 clowns this year. If we meet that number, the amount of donations our group has contributed to Children's Healthcare since we started will be $1 million! But even if we don't make that, it's still an amazing opportunity to be able to come down here, spend time with these wonderful children, and be able to give to such a worthy cause. I'm honored to be a part of it."
All proceeds and donations go directly to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. If you're interested in becoming a clown yourself this year, complete the entry form online or download the paper form and return it by mail to:
