Incapital Hires Chris O'Connor to Spearhead Capital Markets

BOCA RATON, Fla. and CHICAGO, Nov. 29, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Incapital, a leading underwriter and distributor of fixed income and other financial products, today announced that Chris O'Connor has joined the firm as Managing Director of Capital Markets.

Mr. O'Connor will oversee Incapital's debt capital markets platform, working to bolster the firm's diverse distribution pipeline by building out its investment banking and syndicate groups.

Adam Vore has also joined the firm as Managing Director of Capital Markets, reporting directly to Mr. O'Connor.

Both Mr. O'Connor and Mr. Vore will be based in Boca Raton, FL, which serves as Incapital's primary office for sales and trading.

Before joining Incapital, Mr. O'Connor was a Managing Director at Pierpont Securities, where he was in charge of Capital Markets. Mr. O'Connor was formerly at Bear Stearns where he ran the Global Syndicate and Capital Markets business. Previously, he worked at Salomon Brothers and First Boston as a secondary corporate bond trader. Mr. O'Connor is a graduate of Washington and Lee University and has an MBA from Harvard. He also spent five years in the US Army as a Field Artillery officer.

Mr. Vore joins Incapital from Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he was most recently a Director in Debt Capital Markets. In that role, he specialized in developing fixed income solutions tailored to the needs of clients. He has been given numerous industry awards including "2010 Deal of the Year" from The Banker and "2011 Most Innovative Deal of the Year" from Marine Money. Mr. Vore holds a MBA from Wake Forest University with a concentration in investment banking.
