Incapital Announces Hire of Anand Bhattacharya As Managing Director, Research & Strategy

BOCA RATON, Fla. and CHICAGO, June 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Incapital, a leading underwriter and distributor of fixed income and other financial products, today announced that it has hired Anand Bhattacharya as Managing Director, Research and Strategy.

Mr. Bhattacharya is currently a Professor of Practice in the Department of Finance at Arizona State University (ASU). He will continue to maintain his position at ASU, while consulting with Incapital's Research and Strategy Group focused on the analysis and valuation of mortgages, structured notes, credit and agencies.

Mr. Bhattacharya has over 25 years of experience and notably held positions as head of research for both Prudential Securities and Countrywide Capital Markets. Additionally, he has written at great length on various aspects of portfolio management as well as fixed income security analysis, authoring/co-authoring over 65 publications in industry journals/handbooks. Mr. Bhattacharya has also co-authored/co-edited three books highlighting asset-backed and mortgage-backed securities.

Anand earned his M.B.A from Arizona State University and also holds a Ph.D. in Finance and Quantitative Methods from the University.
