COLUMBIA, Md., May 29, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Message Systems, the global leader in digital messaging software for cloud-based businesses and large enterprises, announced today that Inbox Marketer has adopted Message Systems Momentum, replacing their prior commercial email infrastructure with Message Systems' flagship digital messaging platform.
Transitioning onto the Momentum platform has provided Inbox Marketer with better performance and greater insight, as well as increased resiliency to support the company's plans for fast growth. "With Momentum we're sending faster and more consistently than ever before. Plus we now have visibility into sending queues and deliverability metrics, so we can troubleshoot issues faster, and proactively identify and quickly resolve problems with ISPs," said Matthew Vernhout, chief privacy officer and manager of deliverability at Inbox Marketer. "With Momentum's clustered architecture, we can now employ load balancing and configure failover for full business continuity."
"By partnering with Message Systems we're realizing measureable improvements to our messaging operations and measurable efficiencies as well," said Vernhout. "We've already reduced the amount of administrative time required to operate and manage our email implementation by 30 percent. This has given us 30 percent more time to view overall success of our programs, resulting in a competitive advantage over other providers. Additionally, the Momentum platform will enable us to scale horizontally at minimal additional cost since we won't need to buy additional licenses and servers to scale our operations, as we would have with our previous MTA infrastructure. We're secure knowing we'll have adequate capacity no matter how fast we grow, and the ability to quickly roll out mobile channels as we execute on our plan to expand the business."
Adding Inbox Marketer to its customer roster is the latest in a series of wins for Message Systems, which enjoyed its strongest ever Q1 in 2014. Other recent wins include cloud-based businesses like social media powerhouse Twitter, digital agency Creator and email services provider Maropost – all of which had previously been reliant on messaging infrastructure based on open source or commodity commercial email solutions.
"In the fast-evolving online environment, companies determined to scale and gain competitive advantage simply cannot settle for technologies designed for the early days of the commercial Internet," said Phillip Merrick, chief executive officer of Message Systems. "Open source products such as Postfix and commodity commercial products like PowerMTA from Port25 don't measure up to Momentum's performance, scalability and deliverability. They don't support emerging channels like mobile and social and they lack the real-time data visibility and analytics that are so crucial to monitoring and optimizing engagement. We're delighted to welcome our friends at Inbox Marketer into the Message Systems family."
