NEW YORK, Sept 3, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- On Saturday, October 17th, New Yorkers of all ages will take part in RBC Race for the Kids, Royal Bank of Canada's ("RBC") inaugural race in partnership with Youth INC, which aims to raise critical funds for youth-serving nonprofits in New York City. Community leaders, public officials, RBC employees, families and the media are invited to participate in various athletic activities to benefit Youth INC, its 57 nonprofit partner organizations, and additional charities that RBC supports, such as Big Brothers Big Sisters of NYC, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Ronald McDonald House NY. The day will kick off with a 3K Family Fun Run and shorter Kids' Runs with activities and entertainment to follow. RBC employees will also compete in the RBC Challenge, where teams test their strength, endurance, and agility through six events as part of the fundraiser. The race is open to the general public.
