iNACOL Leadership Webinar: Approaches to Evaluating Blended Learning Programs

WASHINGTON, Jan. 6, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- On Wednesday, January 8, 2014, the International Association for K-12 Online Learning (iNACOL) will present a Leadership webinar: Approaches to Evaluating Blended Learning Programs. The webinar will take place from 2:00pm – 3:00pm ET and will feature insight from Dr. Mary Esselman, Deputy Chancellor, Instructional Support & Educational Accountability for Michigan's Education Achievement Authority (EAA) and Ernie Silva, Director of External Affairs for SIATech.

The January 8^th webinar will focus on current practices for evaluating program effectiveness, the evaluation tools in use and how blended learning schools analyze multiple sources of data to understand program success. Presenters will lead a discussion of important considerations around the ongoing formative data collected to inform teachers and administrators about what contributes to student success in online courses and will explore how their programs approach collection of data and what methodology they use to organize and present data for school or district leaders.
