In The Summertime When the Weather is Hot, Workout Indoors!
NYSC, BSC, WSC, and PSC Locations are Offering Free Workouts once the Temp Hits 90 Degrees
NEW YORK, July 17, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Town Sports International (TSI), the owner of New York, Boston, Washington, and Philadelphia Sports Clubs, is encouraging residents to take their workout indoors to escape the heat. Starting Thursday, July 18, 2013, through Saturday, August 31, 2013, all club locations will open their doors to the public for free workouts every time the temperature hits 90 degrees or above.
This offer allows access all hours except Monday to Thursday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., and can be redeemed by referencing the "heat wave promotion" at the front desk of any NYSC, BSC, PSC, or WSC club location.
"When the temperature reaches over 90 degrees, it is not safe for people to work up a sweat outside," said Chris Ruta, Vice President of Fitness at New York Sports Clubs. "We are opening our doors to allow people to enjoy the A/C and stay safe while working out in the summer heat."
Participants must be at least 18 years of age and will need to show photo ID. To find a club near you, please visit, www.mysportsclubs.com.
