IMUSA Introduces Its 2014 Celebrity Chef Ambassador Panel
And Unveils the New Global Kitchen Product Line at the 2014 International Home & Housewares Show
MIAMI, March 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- IMUSA, the leader in Hispanic and ethnic cookware and appliances, introduced its new celebrity panel of chef ambassadors at the global stage for housewares, the 2014 International Home & Housewares Show. The panel features: James Beard award-winning chef Michelle Bernstein of Bravo's Top Chef and owner of award-winning restaurant Michy's and Crumb on Parchment in Miami; Aaron Sanchez of the Food Network's Chopped and Heat Seekers; and George Duran, of TLC's Ultimate Cake Off and host of the Food Network's Ham on the Street.
Bernstein, Sanchez and Duran helped unveil IMUSA's much anticipated launch for Fall 2014, Global Kitchen—a product line inspired by the chef ambassadors' own roots and culinary inspirations. Featuring cookware and appliances that cater to the growing demand for authentic ethnic products, Global Kitchen will highlight four ethnic product categories including: Mexican, Mediterranean, Asian and Caribbean. The chef ambassadors contributed to the design aesthetic and functionality behind the products in the line, drawing inspiration from their own personal cultural and culinary perspectives to ensure that the products will be practical in every home cook's kitchen. Through the launch of Global Kitchen, IMUSA aims to provide consumers easy accessibility to versatile, authentic products such as a Caribbean "Caldero" or the Mexican-inspired Mortar & Pestle, or 'Molcajete'.
"We are thrilled to partner with these three premier chefs in creating a first-of-its-kind, stylish product line that is accessible and authentic, embodying a global culinary point-of-view at an affordable price point," said Manny Gaunaurd, President and CEO of IMUSA. "Our chef ambassadors' incredible resumes and culinary backgrounds align very well with our brand mission of making the exploration of international cuisine from the home kitchen accessible to anyone who wants to bring ethnic flavors to their friends and family."
