Imperial Resources, Inc.; SWDF to Commence Commercial Operations This Week
AUSTIN, Texas, Nov. 8, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Imperial Resources, Inc. (OTCBB: IPRC) and its wholly owned subsidiary, Imperial Oil & Gas, Inc. (together the "Company", "Imperial") is pleased to announce that its Green Tide Salt Water Disposal Facility ("SWDF") will shortly be opening for business.
The Company has de-pickled, tested and performed the necessary maintenance on the pumps as well as adding additional chemical injection ability to enhance oil separation and add a biocide. With only the replacement of a short flexible hose and some minor electronic issues related to communications left to deal with, the Company is looking forward to opening the SWDF as soon as possible.
The Company has received assurances from several water haulers that they are looking forward to disposing at the SWDF once open and has already experienced ad-hoc demand from passing water haulage traffic.
The 42 acre SWDF site is ideally located to service disposal from over 6,000 wells within a 20 mile radius, all of which produce water for years after they have been "fracture stimulated" This "frac" water has to be disposed of in a safe manner, typically by trucking the salt water to a disposal site such as the SWDF.
