IMPAQ International Welcomes Jonathan A. Simonetta as Chief Monitoring & Evaluation Officer
COLUMBIA, Md., June 29, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- IMPAQ International has hired Jonathan A. Simonetta as Chief Monitoring & Evaluation Officer. Mr. Simonetta is one of several high-profile hires IMPAQ has recently made to help the company scale and manage IMPAQ's rapid growth in domestic and international research and technical assistance.
Mr. Simonetta is an expert in a wide range of program and policy areas, including employment and training programs, unemployment insurance, wage and hour policies, and individuals with disabilities. At IMPAQ he will mentor researchers, oversee research projects, and monitor project performance. He will also contribute to business development across several divisions.

Prior to joining IMPAQ, Mr. Simonetta was the Deputy Chief Evaluation Officer at the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) where he helped shape the strategic vision and priorities for the Chief Evaluation Office and oversaw evaluations on worker protection and enforcement programs and employment and training programs. He was with DOL for more than fifteen years, and is an expert in a wide range of program and policy areas, including employment and training programs, unemployment insurance, wage and hour policies, farm workers, and individuals with disabilities. Before his current position in the Chief Evaluation Office, he was the Chief of Pilot and Demonstration Projects in the Employment and Training Administration.
Mr. Simonetta has a Master's Degree in Political Science from the Maxwell School of Citizenship at Syracuse University and a B.S. Degree from School of Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University.
