This year's conference will present, for the first time, findings of a new global study examining how start-ups are impacting market transformation and corporate innovation. Conference organizers also announced that they are still accepting nominations for this year's coveted TiE50 Awards. Since the Awards inception in 2009, some 94 percent of winners and finalists have received venture funding and many have gone on to be acquired, merged or become public.
