NEW YORK, Oct. 13, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- IMAX Corporation (NYSE: IMAX) today announced the appointment of Jessica Kourakos to the role of Senior Vice President, Investor Relations, reporting to IMAX Chief Financial Officer Joseph Sparacio. Kourakos will lead the development and execution of the Company's global investor relations strategy in partnership with CEO Richard L. Gelfond, Sparacio and other senior management members. In this capacity, Kourakos will oversee IR teams in both the US and China.
Kourakos brings more than 20 years of investor relations and financial analysis experience to IMAX. She joins the Company from CBS Corporation, where she served as Vice President of Investor Relations for five years. Previous to this role, Kourakos was the Vice President of Investor Relations for two international software companies, Intuit and Synopsys Inc. She also held senior equity analyst positions with leading Wall Street financial services firms Goldman Sachs and UBS.
