Fast forward to present, Dr. Mohamed specializes in breast oncology and possesses board certification in Internal Medicine and Oncology from the American Board of Internal Medicine. In addition to seeing patients, Dr. Mohamed is a Professor of Medicine at the University of Toledo.

A fellow of the American College of Physicians, Dr. Mohamed is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and Royal College of Physicians in the UK. Upon receipt of her Medical degree from the University of Kuwait Health Sciences Center, Dr. Mohamed completed her Internal Medicine Residency at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital as well as completion of Fellowship training in Oncology at Beaumont Hospital. She also holds a Master of Public Health degree to go hand in hand with her training.
