COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS, Utah, April 21, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- To support its accelerating growth, Imagine Health, the nation's leading independent creator of top-performing healthcare provider teams that typically save large employers more than 20 percent in healthcare benefit costs, today announced the new hire of three seasoned healthcare professionals with more than 75 combined years of industry expertise. Joining Imagine Health are Brad Kirkpatrick as Chief Growth Officer; Diane Rosenthal as Vice President of National Sales; and Melissa Floren, CFA, as Vice President of Business Development.
Brad Kirkpatrick joins Imagine Health with 28 years healthcare experience, most recently as president of the Employer and Government Business at Healthways. Prior to Healthways, Kirkpatrick led the build out and growth of Best Doctors, Inc. in the United States. As Chief Growth Officer at Imagine Health, Kirkpatrick is responsible for driving sales by designing and leading a sales organization to support growth among key customers, including national Fortune 500 companies nationwide.
"With more than two decades in this industry, I joined Imagine Health because I see this as the only opportunity that truly transforms health care in a meaningful way," said Kirkpatrick. "Our sole focus is to act as independent advocates for our employer clients to ensure they receive the highest quality and lowest cost health care possible. I am passionate about being a part of an organization that is bringing about real and immediate change."
Diane Rosenthal comes to Imagine Health with more than 30 years of healthcare experience. Over the past nearly 20 years, she served as Strategic Account Executive in the Health and Wellness Division of Quest Diagnostics, Inc. where she marketed wellness programs to employer groups and reseller partners. At Imagine Health, Rosenthal will work with large healthcare consultants and Fortune 500 companies enabling them to provide higher quality health care at lower costs.
"I engaged with Imagine Health because they are focused on working with organizations that seek to improve the quality of health care they provide their employees while reducing costs," said Rosenthal. "While wellness initiatives have been on the fringe for some time, our solutions provide immediate quality improvement and significant cost savings to both employees and employers. We are helping large companies examine their existing health plan offerings in specific geographical regions, and then determining where they can realize significant improvements in care and costs."
Melissa Floren, CFA brings her passion of life sciences to Imagine Health after a decade on Wall Street as a healthcare research analyst and portfolio manager, plus an additional six years with genomics company, Navigenics, where she was head of business development. As Navigenics' first employee, Floren applied financial expertise, intuition for business development and marketing skills to bring to the industry the greatest advances of medical discovery, namely in the area of personalized medicine. She was responsible for creating relationships with leading institutions and large employers, including Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic, and Duke Medical Center, among others. At Imagine Health, Floren is charged with developing strategic partnerships with companies that will accelerate growth and help Imagine Health continue to scale.
"I came to Imagine Health because it is accelerating our country's transformation to sustainable health care," said Floren. "I believe this transformation requires bold and audacious solutions – exactly the here and now solutions Imagine Health provides."
Recently-appointed president of Imagine Health, Chris Cigarran added, "It's our mission to build high quality provider networks for our valued customers. We are confident that the vast knowledge and diverse experience these three industry experts bring to our growing organization will help us reach our goals of transforming and providing quality and affordable health care to large employers."
Imagine Health CEO and Founder, Allison Robbins stated, "We continue to add top-tier talent from across the country to our organization to support our growth. I am thrilled by the recent addition of Brad, Melissa, and Diane and know they will have a tremendous positive impact on our organization."
