ATLANTA, May 14, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Imagine Exhibitions, Inc., a pioneer in global traveling entertainment and immersive experiences, today celebrates its 10th anniversary in business. As part of the celebration, the Atlanta-based company unveiled an enhanced brand identity and supporting marketing campaign.
Producing more than 50 unique exhibitions in the last 10 years, Imagine has toured shows to 155 venues across 92 cities and 23 countries in North America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Australia. In 2018 alone, exhibitions presented by Imagine reached over 2.5 million visitors worldwide.
"We believe in the power of immersive storytelling, hands on interactivity and experiential design in creating a transformative experience," said Tom Zaller, President and CEO of Imagine Exhibitions. "The fact that our exhibitions reach millions of visitors from all walks of life every year is truly exciting. Our hope is that guests walk away from our exhibitions feeling educated, entertained, and enlightened."
Over its 10-year history, Imagine's attractions and exhibitions have been seen by nearly 20 million people and the company has earned the reputation of a trusted partner in delivering the world's most compelling, story-driven immersive experiences to audiences around the globe.
Within the past five years, Imagine has successfully produced and operated exhibitions with a number of internationally-recognized brands such as Rovio (Angry Birds Universe: The Art & Science Behind a Global Phenomenon), Lionsgate (The Hunger Games: The Exhibition), Universal Brand Development, (Jurassic World: The Exhibition), and NBCU International (Downton Abbey: The Exhibition). During this same time period, Imagine opened a permanent exhibition space at Bally's hotel in Las Vegas and signed long-term contracts with Universcience (a French public institution and one of the largest science centers in Europe), the artist Sean Kenney (who creates incredible sculptures using LEGO® bricks), and Scitech (a leading science center in Perth, Australia).
In 2017, the Association of Science and Technology Centers (ASTC) recognized Imagine's longtime, innovative partnership with Scitech with the Roy L. Schafer Leading Edge Award for Business Practices.
The newly enhanced brand identity for Imagine includes a more modern font style, brighter red primary color, and an eye-catching "Thought Bubble" icon—designed to celebrate the company's momentous 10th year in business while conveying Imagine's goal to educate, entertain, and enlighten consumers around the world.
"Our secret sauce is the experts behind the experience," said Zaller. "We have unmatched talent with unrivaled experience in sales, marketing, design, operations, and production. It all comes as a 'gift with purchase' to our clients around the world." Today, Imagine's team consists of 33 of the industry's most talented people. With 67% of team members identifying as female, Imagine prioritizes embracing inclusion in its hiring practices, and recognizes the value of varied backgrounds and experiences to generate fresh and innovative ideas. Imagine credits its success at least in part to these diverse perspectives.
Moving forward, leadership will focus its efforts on strategic and sustainable growth, delivering continued excellence to clients and partners, and creating and executing the world's most compelling immersive experiences.
