SANTA MONICA, Calif., Sept. 12, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- KIDinaKORNER/ Interscope recording artist IMAGINE DRAGONS enters the Billboard Top 200 Chart at # 2 with their full-length debut album, NIGHT VISIONS. With sales of 83,213 copies, this is the best first week sales for a full- length debut by a new rock band since May 2006. The current single, "It's Time" sung by Darren Criss (Blaine) will be featured on the season four Glee premiere which airs Thursday, September 13th on FOX at 9/8c.
NIGHT VISIONS follows on the heels of the band's fourth EP Continued Silence, which recently topped the New Artist Alternative album chart. The first single, "It's Time," which is currently No. 5* at Modern Rock radio and No. 4* at AAA, is launching at Top 40 radio now. "It's Time" has sold nearly 500,000 copies and is also featured in the trailer for the upcoming film The Perks of Being A Wallflower, which hits theaters on September 20th.
