DALLAS, Jan. 23, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Safe Conversations® | Relationships First™ is hosting a one-of-a-kind relationship event on Saturday, February 11 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (CST). Talking is the most dangerous thing people do, and Safe Conversations 360 is a free full-day live and in-home workshop that will teach healthy and safe relationship skills through a variety of dynamic techniques.
While the live event will be held in Dallas, TX, Safe Conversations 360 can be seen and experienced anywhere in the world. The event will be streamed live to millions of people, allowing individuals to participate from their SmartTV, computer or tablet through special channels on Roku, YouTube and Facebook Live. Those interested can sign up for detailed instructions on how to access the live streaming and the corresponding mobile app that will serve as an interactive workbook during the event.
Based on the most advanced relational and neurological science, Harville Hendrix, Ph.D. and Helen LaKelly Hunt, Ph.D. are the two visionaries behind this interactive workshop. This husband-and-wife team has authored three New York Times Best Sellers, and Dr. Hendrix has appeared 17 times on Oprah as a special guest contributor.
According to Dr. Hendrix and Dr. Hunt, "In light of last year's police shootings in Dallas as well as the recent political and social climate, our world is in need of a technology that helps individuals connect beyond their differences. Along with Dallas emerging as the epicenter of the 'Safe Conversations' movement, our trainers have continued to spread the Safe Conversation technology to other places around the world, such as China, Iran, India and even Qatar."
Along with the live streaming, participants can experience the power of putting their relationships first by attending the event at Fair Park's Automobile Building in Dallas. Children and teenage version of the relational methodology will be available at the historic Women's Museum in Fair Park. Safe Conversations leaders will also host workshops concurrent with the live broadcast, making this the largest global event of its kind.
"We created a vibrant experience last year during Valentine's Day weekend at Fair Park," said Alyce Alston, CEO and Executive Director of Safe Conversations® | Relationships First™. "For this year, we wanted to expand Safe Conversations 360 to a global level allowing more individuals to have access to the relational tools everyone needs to feel safe, valued and connected."
