LOS ANGELES, Jan. 29, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Imagination TV Inc. (OTC Pink: IMTV), Imagination TV announces today it has signed an agreement to begin airing a two-hour Imagination TV block on Time Warner Cable starting May 9th, 2015.
The hosted block includes shows from Imagination TV that inspire, motivate, and entertain viewers. Each hosted two-hour block includes Imagination TV productions of UnCommon Denominator, Cooking For Bachelors 101 and Start-Up Stories. Also in the block are one-on-one interviews and speeches by the world's most fascinating motivators and producers in the area of self-help.
Time Warner is an American cable telecommunications company that operates in 29 states. It is the second largest cable company in the U.S., behind only Comcast, available in over 30 Million TV homes.
"It has been a lifelong dream to bring a hosted self-help network to television. I wanted to build a channel that would allow anyone to sit back and find the messages they need to kickstart and enhance their lives," says Imagination TV's CEO Steven Samblis. "In this 10 billion dollar marketplace, there needs to be an easily-accessible way to discover the best of the best in self-help. We aim to do that at Imagination TV. This two-hour block is the first step to making that happen. Our goal, once we have created a track record with the two-hour block, is to expand into a full 24/7 channel, available to all, across many platforms."
The two-hour block generates revenues from sales of commercial spots during breaks. Another revenue source is the sale of products on myImaginationtv.com, to which the host refers viewers for more information about the shows and the speakers they were just watching.
Imagination TV has signed an agreement with the advertising sales company, WideShot, to sell commercial spots during the two-hour Imagination TV block.
