ImageSoft Insurance Executive Earns AIIM Award for Distinguished Services

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., March 22, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Brian Schlegel, a technology industry veteran and vice president at Southfield-based ImageSoft, Inc., was honored today by AIIM, the Association for Information and Image Management, with its Distinguished Services Award.  Schlegel was one of ten individuals selected to receive the award which was presented at a ceremony today during the annual AIIM Exposition and Conference in Washington, D.C.

The Distinguished Service Award recognizes individuals whose outstanding service has benefited the advancement of enterprise content management (ECM) technology.  Award recipients are selected based on their contributions to AIIM on a local and national level, career achievements, and recommendations by their industry peers.

Schlegel, a 17-year AIIM member, has worked in the technology industry since 1994 focusing on delivering powerful enterprise content management solutions to enable companies to improve processes, increase efficiency and reduce costs.  He has a wealth of experience across a wide spectrum of industries with a particular emphasis on the insurance industry.

Schlegel joined ImageSoft in 2002 where he leads the company's Raleigh, NC office and is responsible for new business development in the insurance and healthcare markets and for expanding the company's Southeastern U.S. presence.  He is a frequent national speaker on the topic of ECM and process improvement.  He resides in Cary, N.C.
