Illinois State Rifle Association Announces First Glock League Match Of 2016
CHATSWORTH, Ill., June 22, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The following was released today by the Illinois State Rifle Association (ISRA):
The ISRA is pleased to announce that the 2016 edition of the ISRA Glock League will kick off with its first match on Sunday, June 26, 2016. The match will be held at the ISRA's Rifle & Pistol Range located at 1589 Warner Bridge Road, Bonfield, Illinois. The range is situated on Warner Bridge Road about midway between Route 17 and Route 113.
Registration and mandatory safety brief begins around 8:30 AM with relays starting shortly thereafter.
Competition is limited to Glock pistols conforming to Glock Shooting Sports Foundation (GSSF) requirements. Entry fees are $20 with re-fires costing $5 each. Competitors may choose to fire additional Glock pistols at $15 per additional pistol fired. The course of fire is 50 rounds at various distances ranging between 12 and 75 feet.
The general public is invited to participate in the first match while the July and August matches are limited to GSSF members. GSSF memberships will be sold during the first match. To sweeten the pot, all participants are automatically entered into a raffle for a Glock pistol which will be drawn after the August match.
