Illinois Financing Partners (www.illinoisfp.com) was formed in 2013 by a group of Illinois businessmen, political leaders, and seasoned finance professionals with direct experience in funding Illinois receivables to help address the state's backlog of unpaid bills. Because of the backlog, vendors doing business with the state often wait months or years to receive payment. Funding from IFP helps Illinois' economy by keeping the wheels of commerce turning while the state sorts its way through a difficult period.
