Illinois CPA Society Welcomes 1,821 New CPAs to the Profession
16 Receive Excel Award Distinction for Outstanding Achievement on the CPA Exam
CHICAGO, June 25 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Illinois CPA Society welcomed 1,821 individuals – an increase of 165 over last year – who successfully completed the 2009 Uniform CPA Exam into the CPA profession at the annual New CPA Banquet held June 15. Candidates with outstanding achievement on the exam were given special recognition.
The Excel Award is granted to Illinois CPAs who achieved a total average score of 90 or more and completed all four parts of the exam within two consecutive testing windows and were in the top five percent of the scores of those who completed all the requirements in 2009 in Illinois. Medals are awarded to those with the top scores in the State. Congratulations to all of the following 16 Medal and Award recipients:
