Illinois CPA Society Holds Women's Leadership Breakfast Friday, May 21

CHICAGO, May 19 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Illinois CPA Society hosts the Women's Leadership Breakfast on Friday, May 21 at the Standard Club in Chicago. The event will feature Ms. Amy Ripepi, CPA, who was the partner in charge of Arthur Andersen's national technical group and acted as a witness in the overturned case relating to Enron . Her experiences illustrate the twists and turns – and peaks and valleys – of a career in accounting.
Ms. Ripepi is currently the Managing Director of Financial Reporting Advisors, LLC – a company she and two former Andersen partners established – and will be speaking to the human side of accounting relating to her experiences with the U.S. Supreme Court, the lessons she learned that no textbook can teach and the qualities that contribute to a successful career.
