Designed to iKey's high standard for durability, the new PMD-W features an ergonomic 10 degree pullout that fits perfectly into rackmount computer systems and enclosures, it can be rack mounted or panel mounted as needed.
"The PMD-W-SK-97-TP rackdrawer is ideal for use in harsh environments," said Dave Huddleston, operations manager, iKey. "The drawer won't fall open due to its magnetic, auto-lock feature."
The 10-pound PMD-W features CRS steel construction with scratch resistant epoxy paint finish. With an operating temperature range of -40 degrees C to +70 degrees C, the PMD-W can easily function in an extended temperature range.
"The PMD-W rackdrawer has an impressively shallow depth, just over 6.5 inches," said Huddleston. "This allows for storage behind the drawer for crucial components such as a power supply."
The PMD-W was designed to specially pair with iKey's low profile keyboard SK-97-TP, which meets NEMA 4X specifications, making it is resistant to dirt, debris, liquids and corrosives. These two products together combine for a small footprint drawer and keyboard with the added benefit of an integrated touchpad in one rugged, waterproof unit.
Each iKey rackdrawer keyboard is built with an industrial silicone rubber keypad and can feature an integrated touchpad and 10-key numeric pad.
