iJET Strengthens Senior Executive Team with Promotion and New Hire
President Bruce McIndoe Named CEO. Travel Assistance Veteran John Rose Hired as COO.
ANNAPOLIS, Md., May 21, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- iJET International, a leading provider of global intelligence and business resiliency services, today announced that Bruce McIndoe, iJET co-founder and former president, has assumed the position of CEO. McIndoe succeeds Stephen Hoffman, who joined the company in 2008 and has left the company to pursue other professional interests.
The company also announced the addition of travel and medical assistance veteran John Rose as Chief Operating Officer. In this position, Rose will oversee the day-to-day operations of the company as well as manage iJET's business development initiatives. Rose brings more than 19 years of experience in security, medical and travel assistance to iJET. Prior to iJET, Rose spent 15 years at Travel Guard Worldwide, a Chartis company, where he advanced to the position of division president. He previously served as Program Director of the US Department of Defense's Travel and Information department in Naples, Italy. Throughout his career, Rose has built a deep expertise in managing complex international travel operations, focusing on risk management, security and cost containment. Rose is an active member of several travel industry advisory councils and is a frequent speaker and subject matter expert on international travel risk.
"As business opportunities are identified in emerging markets, organizations are increasingly sending employees into less developed areas and hot spots of unrest. The need to protect employees on business travel has never been greater," said McIndoe. "John is joining iJET at an exciting time, as we expand our response services to meet client and market needs. His tremendous knowledge and expertise aligns well with iJET's growth plan. We are delighted to add John to our senior executive team."
