IHRC is an international consulting and professional services company focused on providing support in Science and Health, Information Management, Management Consulting, and Bioinformatics.
In his new role, Mr. Astwood will oversee all of the company's operations as IHRC continues its accelerated growth in the public and private sectors. He will also continue to lead the Applied Bioinformatics Laboratory (ABiL) partnership with the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Mr. Astwood has been with IHRC since 2014 and most recently served as its Chief Science and Technology Officer. During his tenure, he has been instrumental in driving the company's rapid growth by strategically expanding its client base and services portfolio while focusing on the exceptional customer service that is a hallmark of the company.
Mr. Astwood has also played a key role in establishing the Applied Bioinformatics Laboratory (ABiL), an IHRC partnership with the Georgia Institute of Technology. Through this unique venture, IHRC has become a leader in the cutting edge bioinformatics sector, providing bioinformatics and genomics solutions and training to scientists at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Mr. Astwood will succeed Dr. Bala "Swami" Swaminathan, who will remain with IHRC in a Senior Advisor role.
