IGT Signs Agreement for sbX™ Tier One System at Barona Resort and Casino in San Diego, Calif.

LAS VEGAS, Sept. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- International Game Technology (NYSE: IGT), a global leader in creating the games players love and network systems that improve the player experience, announced today that it has signed a sbX™ Tier One agreement with Barona Resort and Casino located in San Diego, Calif.

The Tier One Package includes sbX™ Floor Manager and is available on IGT's AVP® machine models. sbX™ Floor Manager allows access to the industry's largest Game-to-System game library and lets operators reconfigure a casino floor with the touch of a button. As part of Barona's Tier One Package, sbX™ Floor Manager is live on 100 machines at Barona and the casino has more than 200 games to choose from in the IGT Game Library, with new games released monthly.

Barona Casino has been a pilot site for the sbX™ Tier One system. As such, the property served as a test site for the server-based gaming and management system technology.  Barona has chosen to convert from a pilot site because of the flexible game and management functionality the system provides.

As the industry's first GSA-compliant server-based solution, sbX™ was designed to operate on a floor-wide network, connecting multiple manufacturer's games to create a seamless experience for the player and a more cost-effective floor management solution for operators. IGT has brought sbX™ to market with an emphasis on interoperability.

sbX™ is currently installed at ARIA at CityCenter and Monte Carlo Resort and Casino and will be installed at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. Also in the US, the sbX™ Tier One package is currently installed at Ameristar St. Charles Casino Resort, Akwesasne Mohawk Casino, Colusa Casino, FireKeepers Casino, MGM Grand Detroit, Motor City Casino Hotel, IP Biloxi Casino Resort, and The Orleans Hotel and Casino. And on an international scale, sbX™ is installed at Casino d'Evian in France and Grand Casino Helsinki in Finland, as well as Casino de la Vallee and Casino di Venezia in Italy.
