IGT Receives Operational Excellence Award from Manufacturing Leadership 100 Awards

LAS VEGAS, March 7, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- International Game Technology (NYSE: IGT) announced today the Company was honored with the Operational Excellence Award as part of the 2012 Manufacturing Leadership (ML) 100 Awards program with the Manufacturing Executive organization.

The ML 100 Awards honor top manufacturing organizations worldwide for their achievements in transformational business projects and innovation. The Operational Excellence Award acknowledges IGT's "Engineering and Manufacturing Cost Reduction Project," which aims to transform the Company's production processes and systems with a keen focus on reducing costs and enhancing agility.
