IGT Leads Industry with Eight Reader's Choice Awards in Southern California Gaming Guide

LAS VEGAS, Oct. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- International Game Technology (NYSE: IGT), a global leader in creating the major slot games that players love and the casino network systems that improve the player experience, announced today that its games received eight awards in the Southern California Gaming Guide's "Best of Southern California Gaming Reader's Choice Awards." The awards will be featured in the October issue of the publication.

IGT's eight awards were the most of any manufacturer and included four number one wins: Best Reel Slot — Wheel of Fortune®; Best Penny Slot — Star Wars™; Best Progressive Slot — Wheel of Fortune®; and Best Video Poker Slot — All-Star Poker®.

In addition to taking first place in the "Best Video Poker Slot" category, IGT also took second and third place with Super Times Pay® and Double Double Bonus Poker®.
