IGT Enters Agreement With Multi-State Lottery Association for Wide Area Progressive Link Between Delaware, Rhode Island and West Virginia

LAS VEGAS, June 2, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- International Game Technology (NYSE: IGT) announced today that it has signed an agreement with the Multi-State Lottery Association (MUSL) to facilitate IGT's first interstate wide area progressive (WAP) link between the lottery jurisdictions of Delaware, Rhode Island and West Virginia. The new interstate link will be called MegaHits^™ and have a starting jackpot reset amount of $100,000.

"IGT introduced the very first WAP link to the gaming industry in 1986, and players continue to love the big jackpot opportunities these games offer. IGT's new MegaHits^™ WAP will feature the MegaHits^™ Multi-Level Progressive (MLP) and is scheduled to go live in mid-July. The first two games released on the MegaHits^™ MLP are Emerald Sevens^™ and Triple Ruby Riches^™. Both feature a local, four-level progressive plus the WAP top award.
