IGT and WMS Showcase Network Gaming Interoperability at G2E 2010

LAS VEGAS, Nov. 17, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- International Game Technology (NYSE: IGT), a global leader in creating the major slot games players love and casino network systems that improve the player experience, and WMS Gaming Inc., a subsidiary of WMS Industries Inc. (NYSE: WMS), a leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of gaming machines to the global gaming industry, are presenting an interoperability demonstration at the 2010 Global Gaming Expo (G2E) on Nov. 16–18 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

IGT and WMS are working collaboratively to leverage the infrastructure provided by the industry's open game-to-system (G2S) casino floor network. In joint demonstrations in their respective booths at G2E, IGT and WMS are showcasing new player communication capabilities that can be achieved with the implementation of G2S across both Service Window using IGT's sbX™ Media Manager and FreedomPort Player User Interface windowing platform enabled by WMS' WAGE-NET networked gaming solution.
