iGov Awarded Marine Corps Enterprise Network Services SIPRNET Expeditionary Service Stacks
RESTON, Va., April 21, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- iGov, provider of C4ISR systems and support programs, announced today it was awarded contract #NNG07DA27B for Marine Corps Enterprise Network Services – SIPRNET Expeditionary Service Stacks (MCEN-S ESS). iGov will replace, install and train the ESS, which serves as the Marine Corps core infrastructure for hosting user-facing enterprise services. Those services include messaging, file sharing, identity and access management, directory, and domain name services. This is a single award Firm Fixed Price contract with a 1-year base period, and four 1-year options.
"This is an important award for iGov," said Pat Neven, CEO, "as it allows us to expand on the work we have done for the Marine Corps on other expeditionary C2 platforms, like the Tactical Collaborative Work Suite 2.0 (TCWS) and the Combat Operations Center (COC)." "The Marine Corps Information Environment demands a seamless enterprise and the ability to infuse emerging technologies. I think that selecting a company with a strong Expeditionary C4ISR pedigree demonstrates the Corps' commitment to that approach." said Chuck Reiche, VP Business Development for iGov. "We're honored to continue to aid the Marine Corps in the evolution of their C4 infrastructure."
