CHERRY HILL, N.J., Feb. 20, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The International Fluid Power Society (IFPS): www.ifps.org, the only organization to provide comprehensive technical certifications for professionals in the fluid power and motion control industry, has recently upgraded its Hydraulic Specialist (HS) Certification Study Manual.
The IFPS HS Certification is for those designing, writing specifications and sizing and selecting components for hydraulic systems across all industries.
A new HS Certification Test will be released April 1, 2017; however, candidates may register NOW for the HS certification test by visiting www.ifps.org. The three (3) hour written HS test contains 50 multiple choice questions. An online pre-test has been developed to ascertain whether a candidate is prepared to take the Certification test.
"To keep pace with changing fluid power and motion control technologies, IFPS is committed to reviewing our Certification Study Manuals and Tests every five years by a panel of subject matter experts. The Upgraded HS Certification Study Manual contains five sections of tasks with outcomes as well as review questions and pre-test practice questions for the following domains:
- Understand The Function Of Hydraulic Components In Circuits.
- Analyze Loads And Motion.
- Selecting Components For Hydraulic Systems.
- Analyze And Troubleshoot Hydraulic Systems.
- Electrohydraulic Control Systems.
