iFLY Indoor Skydiving Appoints Dave Kirchhoff as Chief Executive Officer
Founder and CEO Alan Metni to Transition to Executive Chairman Effective November 1, 2017
AUSTIN, Texas, Nov. 1, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- iFLY, the world's largest indoor skydiving company, today announced that it has chosen Dave Kirchhoff to serve as Chief Executive Officer, effective November 1, 2017. Kirchhoff will succeed iFLY Founder and CEO Alan Metni, who has served in the role since the company's founding in 2000. In accordance with iFLY's succession plan, Metni will become Executive Chairman of the Board, effective immediately.

Dave Kirchhoff most recently served as CEO of Austin-based health-food retailer Snap Kitchen since 2015. Prior to Snap Kitchen, Kirchhoff spent 13 years in various roles at Weight Watchers, including President and CEO from 2006 to 2013, where he oversaw the world's largest weight management organization's more than 40,000 employees, in addition to revamping its U.S. network's more than 600 stores. Kirchhoff has also held leadership roles at Enthusiast Media Group of Primedia Inc., in addition to Pepsico Inc.
