If You Entered Into A Title Loan Transaction At A Missouri Title Loans Store In Missouri, You Could Receive Finance Charge Forgiveness From A Class Action Settlement
ST. LOUIS, March 13, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Dahl Administration, LLC announces that a settlement has been preliminarily approved in the matter Beverly Brewer v. Missouri Title Loans, Inc - Case No. 0722-CC-00015. A hearing will be held on May 5, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. before Hon. David Dowd, in Division 2 of the St. Louis City Circuit Court Civil Courts Building, 10 N. Tucker Blvd, St. Louis, Missouri, 63101, for the purpose of determining:
(1) whether the Court should approve as fair, reasonable and adequate a proposed settlement of a class action case brought against Missouri Title Loans, to include partial or total forgiveness of unpaid finance charges to customers, ongoing disclosures, and other relief;
(2) whether, thereafter, this class action should be dismissed with prejudice as set forth in the Settlement Agreement dated March 6, 2014;
(3) whether the relief offered to class members is fair, reasonable and adequate and therefore should be approved; and
(4) the reasonableness of the application of Class Counsel for the payment of attorneys' fees and expenses incurred in connection with this litigation and for the award of an honorarium fee to Plaintiff representing the Class.
IF YOU ENTERED INTO A TITLE LOAN TRANSACTION AT ANY MISSOURI TITLE LOAN STORE IN MISSOURI between January 3, 2002 and March 6, 2014, you may be affected by this Settlement and you may be entitled to forgiveness of all or some of the unpaid finance charges of your loan(s).
