If cats could talk, what would they tell us?
"Cat Myth Busters" uncover the truth about our feline friends
SHAWNEE, Kan., Sept. 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Since ancient times, cats have been misunderstood, leading to many false feline myths. Some are harmless, like cats can't get along with dogs; others are serious, like cats can only get fleas during summer.
Aiming to dispel these deep-seated myths, America's foremost pet lifestyle expert and "pet diva," Wendy Diamond, and her beloved "side-cat" Pasha, have teamed up with Bayer's Advantage® II for cats to disprove the Top 10 cat myths.
This month, Wendy and Pasha debut the second episode—"To Scratch or Not to Scratch"—of their fun, "myth buster" video series. This episode focuses on cat health, specifically scratching signs owners should look out for, an important topic for any cat lover.
Pet owners can visit www.CatMythBusters.com to play the cat myth game and join PetParents.com, an online pet community featuring helpful tips and resources. For every new member, a donation of Advantage® II for cats of up to 10,000 tubes will be made to AdoptaPet.com, a nonprofit pet adoption charity.
