Idea Financial Launches Idea Signature, Offering Lines of Credit Up to $1 Million to Midsize Businesses Through Joint Venture with MidOcean Partners

Idea Signature, with up to $225 million in capacity, nearly triples Idea Financial's maximum line size and adds institutional servicing to its core small business lending

MIAMI, Oct. 20, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Idea Financial, the Miami-based lender that has provided nearly $1.5 billion in financing to more than 10,000 businesses, today announced Idea Signature, a program offering revolving lines of credit of up to $1 million to established midsize businesses, funded through a joint venture with funds managed by MidOcean Partners. Idea Signature has a capacity of up to $225 million. Idea Financial is both an equity investor in the venture and its servicer, underwriting, funding and managing every line on the venture's behalf.

Idea Signature adds a new tier on top of Idea Financial's core business, which continues to offer lines of credit up to $350,000 and term loans to small businesses in 47 states. Signature lines serve the companies that core customers grow into: profitable, established businesses that have outgrown small-ticket online lenders but find bank and SBA financing slow, collateral-heavy and hard to get when they need it. Idea Financial intends to deploy the program's capital to top-quality businesses in that gap.

The venture also opens a second line of business for Idea Financial: managing capital on behalf of an institutional partner. The venture owns the lines originated under Idea Signature, and Idea Financial runs them end to end, from underwriting and funding through servicing, collections and investor reporting, on the same proprietary underwriting technology and servicing platform it uses for its own portfolio. Idea Financial's own lending, warehouse facilities and securitization program continue alongside it.
