IDdriven Awarded National Contract by NRECA; Contract Potentially Amongst the IAM Industry's Largest
SACRAMENTO, California, December 13, 2016 /PRNewswire/ --
IDdriven, Inc. (OTCQB: IDDR), developer and service provider of the new breed of Identity and Access Management ("IAM") solutions, today announced it has been contracted to provide its IDDriven 2.0 Identity Software as a Service ("IDaaS") solution to the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association "(NRECA").
NRECA, based in Arlington Virginia, is the national service organization that represents the nation's 900+ private, not-for-profit, consumer-owned electric cooperatives, which provide service to 42 million people in 47 states across 75 percent of the American landscape. It has approximately 1,000 employees and a total 80,000 external identities throughout its member co-ops. After the initial phase onboarding the employees, the goal is to onboard all 80,000 external identities onto the IDdriven service.
Commenting on its IDdriven contract, NRECA Principal Information Security Representative, Jon Naglieri, commented, "We are interested in leveraging IDdriven's Role Based Access Control ("RBAC") capabilities due to it being a cloud service and its seamless integration with Microsoft`s MIM and Azure Active Directory. We are looking forward to working with the IDdriven team and sharing its culture of commitment to outstanding service."
"This is an enormous win for IDdriven, and bodes well for our ability to close on our growing pipeline of prospective enterprise customers," said Arend Verweij, IDdriven`s Chief Executive Officer. "Our many years of industry experience shows that, rather than try to do it themselves with limited resources, many small and mid-size companies look up to a respected industry leader like NRECA to do its due diligence on new and updated technologies -- and then they could simply decide for themselves to implement the IDdriven software solution.
"In the private sector, 81,000 identities is exceptionally large in scope," Mr. Verweij added. "To put its magnitude into context, consider that in the Fortune 500, which represents 2/3 of US GDP, global oil field services company Halliburton is ranked #89 with 80,000 employees, Philip Morris International is ranked #88 with 82,500 and Exxon Mobil is ranked #87 with 83,700.
"Big, small or in between," Mr. Verweij concluded, "IDdriven is dedicated to delivering the industry's most advanced IDaaS solution, competitively priced, for the highest value proposition."
