ICSA Labs to Host Four-Part Webinar Series on 2014 EHR Certification Requirements, Beginning Sept. 11

MECHANICSBURG, Pa., Sept. 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- ICSA Labs, an independent division of Verizon, will host a free four-part webinar series, beginning Tuesday (Sept. 11) to discuss changes set forth by the Final Rule governing the Stage 2 Standards and Certification Criteria for Electronic Health Records (EHRs).

The hour-long webinars are aimed at helping participants understand the general programmatic changes in the Permanent Certification Program and will offer a detailed examination of clinical criteria for EHRs. Attendees also will be able to participate in a Q&A session led by ICSA Labs' health information technology experts.

Background:  ICSA Labs offers testing and certification programs that evaluate EHR technology based on ONC-approved test requirements.  In September, ICSA Labs received federal authorization to be a Stage 2 Certification Body for EHRs.
